Bullet Journal Layout 2024

Journaling has been a passion of mine for ages, but let’s face it—I’ve struggled to keep it going. Half-filled notebooks have been my nemesis, but I’ve finally cracked the code. This time around, I’ve designed a plan that feels like something I can actually stick with as we step into the new year.

Consistency has always been a challenge, so I’ve revamped how I organize my journal. Here’s the breakdown of what I’ve included:

  • 2023 Wrapped: Reflecting on the highlights, challenges, and lessons learned from the previous year.
  • Yearly Goals: Setting big-picture intentions and aspirations for the upcoming year.
  • Year in Doodles: Capturing snippets of daily life through simple doodles and sketches.
  • Yearly Pixels – Mood and Reading Tracker: Using pixels or color-coded grids to track moods and reading progress throughout the year.
  • Booklog: Keeping a record of all the books read, along with thoughts and recommendations.
  • Quarterly Goals and Check-ins: Breaking down yearly goals into manageable chunks, checking progress, and readjusting as needed every few months.
  • Monthly Spreads: Planning each month with calendars, habit trackers, and space for monthly reflections.
  • Weekly Check-ins: Reviewing the week, jotting down thoughts, and making adjustments to stay on track.
Bullet Journal

I chose the Leuchtturm1917 Notebook for my journal because it has this great acid-free paper that keeps my writing and drawings looking sharp.

The notebook got page numbers and a total of 251 pages. I’ve used up 159 pages with the listed contents above. Since my journal is going everywhere with me, I’ve decided to leave space in the rest for:

  • Book Quotes and Notes
  • Notes from Events and Seminars
  • Random Sketches and Thoughts

Keep in mind, this is just how I organized the things. Feel free to get inspired and customize for your own way.
